Fees & Rebates
Consultation Fees
The fee for a standard 50 minute consultation during weekdays is $230 and on Saturday or after-hours the fee is $300.
This fee covers your appointment, out of session note taking and standard GP reports (if required).
If referred by your GP with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), Medicare will provide a rebate of $137.05 per session.
Forensic Psychology Fees
A standard 50 minute consultation fee of $230 applies for all forensic-related assessments.
All other services, such as the production of reports, the administration and interpretation of psychometric tests, attending court or other related meetings, are guided by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) schedule of fees.
Since fees vary according to the nature of individual cases and circumstances, it is best to discuss your situation with us so that we can provide an estimate of the fee that our services will likely attract.
Rebates
We are registered with Medicare to provide psychological services under the Government's Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative.
When referred by a GP, patients are eligible to receive a rebate of $137.05 per session (up to a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year). This rebate is processed at the time of payment following each appointment.
Private health insurance rebates can also be provided. However, please check with your insurance provider to determine your level of cover.
NSW WorkCover and CTP
Katherine is an approved provider of psychological services for WorkCover. Under this arrangement, your employer's insurer and/or GP will provide a referral to attend. All fees are covered by the insurer.
For Compulsory Third Party (CTP) accidents, the insurer will also cover the fees providing approval has been granted prior to attending the first appointment.
